A unique little pair of Bertha silver earrings.
The earrings are handmade by artisans in Papua New Guinea. The little puffed fibre discs are made with a traditional bilum weaving technique which is a knotless weave using a single needle. The fibre itself is made from local plants, dried in the sun, pulled and rolled into a continuous string. The silver discs are made from recycled sterling silver and has a hammered finish.
Wearing handmade is a joy, a feel good purchase, knowing you support a local artisan and appreciate their skill and creativity. These Bertha silver earrings are exactly that. You can mix and match them with necklaces in this same style by heading to our Bilum & Bilas page.
The earring are 25mm long.
