Large Milena Zu Open Vega earrings

These earrings will easily take you from day to evening. They have a simple large circle design but the use of fine stainless steel wire brings a distinct edgy flair to the earrings.

The earrings are crocheted by hand in fine stainless steel wire and hang on oxidised and silver plated brass studs. The earrings are 75mm long and 53mm wide.

Milena Zu is famous for her mesh jewellery. She grew up in Italy in an artistic family. During her travels she came through Ubud where she met some very talented local artisans. They are masters in an ancient technique of crocheting with metal wires. These skills have been passed down through generations and Milena now works with the artisans, who crochet her modern designs to her exact mathematical instructions.
